Transparent & Translucent Wedding Invitations

If you are truly looking for unique wedding invitations, take a look at styles using transparent or translucent papers. Translucent simply means that the paper is somewhat see-through. There are several wedding invitation styles that incorporate translucent paper in their design in different ways.

This type of style layers the translucent paper over your photo. Your verse is printed on the top paper with decorative ribbon joining the two layers together. In other similar designs, the bottom layer could simply be another piece of white or colored paper.

Another wedding invitation design does the opposite by having your verse printed on the bottom invitation card with a transparent paper layered on the top, again attached by a ribbon. This particular style has a design printed on the transparent layer.

Another option is to have your wedding invitation card accented by a translucent wrap or to have it inserted into a translucent pocket.

You could also choose to have an entirely translucent wedding invitation as shown here.

To really give your guests a pleasant surprise, how about this clearly transparent invitation card. It will add a very distinctive touch to your special day.

If you aren't quite sure if you would like the look of translucent or transparent paper for your wedding invitations, consider ordering a blank sample of your chosen design which will give you a personal look at the paper before placing your entire order.
